"Best AI product video generator" has no single answer, because the tools make different things and charge in different ways. This guide compares six of them on the three questions that decide most purchases:
- What does it make from your product? A presenter ad, or footage of the product itself.
- What does one 5-second clip actually cost on the cheapest monthly plan, once you convert credits to dollars?
- What are the limits — free tier, models, watermark, commercial use?
Disclosure: we make Swayclip, one of the six tools below. We have tried to compare it the same way as the others, including where it is more expensive. Every competitor number was read from the vendor's official pricing page, billed monthly, and prices were checked on 2026-10-09. Plans change often; follow the link before you buy.
Quick comparison
| Tool | What it makes | Cheapest monthly plan | One 5-second Kling clip on that plan | Free option |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creatify | Avatar video ads from a product link | Starter, $39/month, 100 credits | Not published | 10 credits/month, watermarked exports |
| Higgsfield | Video and image models, plus an Ads Studio | Starter, $19/month, 270 credits | About $0.49 (Kling 3.0 720p, ~7 credits) | Limited free use |
| Krea | Image and video models in one workspace | Pro, $35/month, 20,000 units | About $0.45 (Kling 2.6, audio off) | 100 units/day, no video generation |
| Magnific (formerly Freepik) | Image, video and audio models, plus stock | Premium, $20/month, 20,000 credits | About $0.14 (Kling 2.5 720p, 140 credits) | Not listed on the pricing page |
| OpenArt | Image and video models, stories, characters | Starter, $14/month, 4,000 credits | Not published | Not listed on the pricing page |
| Swayclip | Short product clips from one product photo | Starter, $19.99 / 800 credits per month | About $1.87 (Kling 3.0 720p, audio off, 75 credits) | 50 credits once at signup in most regions, watermarked |
How we got the per-clip numbers: monthly price ÷ monthly credits × the credits the vendor lists for that clip. Higgsfield lists Kling 3.0 720p at about 7 credits per 5 seconds; Krea's plan table shows about 77 Kling 2.6 clips (5 s, audio off) on Pro; Magnific lists Kling 2.5 720p at 140 credits per 5 seconds. Creatify and OpenArt do not publish a per-model Kling cost, so we left those cells empty rather than guess.
The short version: if your only goal is the lowest price per clip, the large multi-model subscriptions are still cheaper per clip than Swayclip. By our estimate a 5-second Kling clip on Swayclip's Starter plan costs about 3.8 times the median of the competitor figures above (about 4.2 times if you count only the figures read directly from vendor pages; Higgsfield's and Krea's Kling 3.0 numbers are our estimates, as marked). Read on for what you get and give up with each.
Presenter ads: Creatify
Creatify turns a product link into a video ad with an AI actor, voiceover and captions. Its pricing page lists Starter at $39/month for 100 credits and Pro at $99/month for 300 credits. The free plan gives 10 credits a month — enough, per the page, for up to 2 video ads — and free exports carry a watermark. The page does not say how many credits a single Kling or other model clip uses.
Choose this kind of tool if you need someone on screen talking about your product. None of the other five tools in this guide is built around presenter ads. (For more avatar-ad options, see our Creatify alternatives guide.)
Multi-model subscriptions: Higgsfield, Krea, Magnific, OpenArt
These four give you many image and video models behind one monthly credit balance. They are not product-video tools specifically — you bring the product photo and write the prompt — but they are where the lowest per-clip prices are.
Higgsfield. Starter is $19/month billed monthly for 270 credits. Its comparison table lists Kling 3.0 720p at about 7 credits per 5 seconds, which works out to roughly $0.49 a clip. One caution: Starter is described as giving access to "selected models only", and the page does not say whether Kling 3.0 is among them. On Plus ($59/month, 1,200 credits) the same clip is about $0.34. Higgsfield also runs time-limited "unlimited" offers on some models for higher plans.
Krea. Pro is $35/month for 20,000 compute units. Krea publishes clip counts rather than per-clip credits: about 77 Kling 2.6 clips (5 seconds, audio off) on Pro, which is about $0.45 each. Kling 3.0 is listed in 3-second units (about 107 clips on Pro), so a 5-second Kling 3.0 clip lands near $0.55. The free tier gives 100 units a day but no video concurrency, so video generation needs a paid plan.
Magnific (formerly Freepik). freepik.com/pricing now redirects to Magnific. Premium is $20/month billed monthly for 20,000 credits, and the page lists Kling 2.5 720p at 140 credits per 5 seconds — about $0.14 a clip, the lowest we found. Kling 3.0 is listed only in its Pro 1080p tier, at 450 credits per 5 seconds (about $0.45). Premium includes a commercial AI license.
OpenArt. Starter is $14/month for 4,000 credits; OpenArt estimates that covers "up to ~50 videos" but does not say for which model, and it publishes no Kling credit cost. Starter exports are watermark-free, but the page lists commercial use rights only from the Plus plan ($34/month) upward — check that before you use Starter output in an ad.
What these plans leave to you: the prompt, choosing a model, and any ad editing. Credits on most of them reset monthly, so the low per-clip price assumes you use the plan every month.
Swayclip: product clips from one photo, priced per clip
Swayclip's product video generator takes one product photo and returns a short clip of the product itself — a push-in, an orbit, a light sweep — with the credit cost shown before you generate. You can also open any model directly in Image to Video.
The evidence we can show is our own benchmark: the same five product photos and the same prompt through six models, every output published, nothing picked. Here is the Kling 3.0 clip from one of those photos:
And the cheapest model on the site, Seedance 2.0 Mini, on a different product:
All 30 clips, wait times and our notes on each model are in the product video benchmark.
What a clip costs on Swayclip today:
| Clip | Credits | On Starter ($19.99 / 800 credits) | With the Credit Pack ($9 / 300 credits) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0, 5 s, 720p, audio off | 75 | about $1.87 | about $2.25 |
| Seedance 2.0 Mini, 4 s, 480p | 20 | about $0.50 | about $0.60 |
Open either one with the same settings and the benchmark prompt already filled in — add your product photo and the composer shows the exact cost before you generate:
Where Swayclip is a reasonable pick:
- You don't want a subscription. The $9 Credit Pack is a one-time purchase and its credits don't expire. Generations made after a purchase download without a watermark and carry a commercial license.
- You want the price before you click. Every model shows its credit cost in the composer, and failed jobs are refunded automatically.
- You want to see real output first. The benchmark above is public and each model has a link that reproduces its settings.
Where it falls short — be clear about these before you buy:
- Per clip, it costs more. The same 5-second Kling clip is roughly four times cheaper on the multi-model subscriptions above, if you use their monthly credits. Those plans bundle many models and reset monthly; Swayclip charges per clip with no subscription.
- No presenter, voiceover or captions. Swayclip makes product footage; you finish the ad in your editor.
- Short clips only. Each generation is a few seconds long.
- AI can change your product. In our benchmark, some models shifted colors or details by the last frame. Check every clip against the real product before you publish it.
How to choose
- You need an on-screen presenter with voice and captions → Creatify (or another avatar-ad tool).
- You make many clips every month and want the lowest price per clip → a multi-model subscription such as Magnific, Krea or Higgsfield.
- You need a few product clips, no subscription, and want to see real results first → Swayclip's $9 Credit Pack and the benchmark above.
- You're on a free tier → expect watermarks or no video at all; Creatify and Swayclip allow watermarked video on their free tiers.
FAQ
What is the cheapest AI product video generator per clip?
Among the plans we checked on 2026-10-09, Magnific's Premium plan had the lowest listed price for a 5-second Kling clip: 140 credits for Kling 2.5 720p, about $0.14 on its $20/month, 20,000-credit plan. That assumes you use the plan's credits each month.
Is Kling 3.0 cheaper on Swayclip or on a subscription platform?
On a subscription platform. A 5-second, 720p, audio-off Kling 3.0 clip is 75 credits on Swayclip — about $1.87 on Starter — versus roughly $0.49 on Higgsfield's Starter and about $0.55 on Krea's Pro, by their published numbers.
Can I make AI product videos without a subscription?
Yes. Swayclip sells one-time Credit Packs from $9 that don't expire. The other tools here are sold as monthly or annual plans.
Which tool should I start with?
Start from what you need to publish. For a talking-presenter ad, use an avatar tool. For product footage, try the cheapest model first — on Swayclip that is Seedance 2.0 Mini in the product video generator — and move up to Kling 3.0 or Veo 3.1 for the final shot. To start with the cheapest setting, open Seedance 2.0 Mini at 4 s, 480p.
